- Be a member in good standing of the local Home Builders' Association
- Abide by the Associations Code of Ethics
- Provide a detailed, written contract for all jobs
- Offer a minimum two-year warranty (conditions may apply)
- Carry at least $2 million in liability insurance
- Hold all required licenses and permits
- Maintain a safe and organized work site
- Return homeowners calls within two business days
- Pursue ongoing education and professional development
- Work only with subcontractors who carry proper safety and liability coverage
